LABC Building Excellence Awards 2013

MCM are regional finalists for ‘Best Individual Dwelling’.

LABC (Local Authority Building Control) are a not-for-profit membership organisation dedicated to promoting public sector expertise representing all local authority building control departments in England and Wales. In acknowledgement of such expertise the LABC Building Excellence Awards take place every year to showcase buildings and design teams that have had to tussle with technical issues, difficult sites and innovative and creative solutions, and this year MCM have not only been nominated but selected as a finalist for ‘Best Individual Dwelling’ for the South East Region.

Achieving this recognition is all thanks to the project teams efforts on the recently completed eco-friendly new build ‘Doubloon’, situated on the north-east coast of the Isle of Wight in the picturesque fishing village of Seaview.
